About  Us

Foodies. Travellers. Photographers.

About the photographer

My interest in photography came from very cliché beginnings. It started with a smartphone. Eventually, I got taken in by the concept of the GoPRO action camera and bought one with my friends. Then it further progressed with the realisation that I have terrible memory, and even if I did have uber memory skills, they eventually will fade with age. Then I bought my Nikon point and shoot for picture taking whilst I worked overseas. When Martina and I decided to leave Singapore and travel, we wanted to get a decent camera to document our trip. It became the DSLR vs. Mirrorless dilemma. Mirrorless of course won out. And the next 6 months were spent learning the art of photography. My interests are like any other typical photographer, animal, landscape, portraiture, star, street, wedding and macro photography. If photography becomes more than just a pursuit of creativity, then let it be so. But for now, it is another skill to master...

About the writer

I'm the writer portion of this blog because the photographer decided he should stick to his talents in photography. Lol.

Say hello to Martina a.k.a Tina and the other M in mmf/0.0 .

This blog was initially started as a way for Michael to post his photos and increase their exposure to the interwebz but as we went along, he found that I'm actually better at this writing thing than he is so we have decided to change things around a little. So now this is a 'we' blog since it's done by two people but I like to think that we are like bread and butter in that we complement each other. Don't you just love the food reference? I couldn't think of a better alternative... salt and pepper? peanut butter and jam?

Anyway, we are both based in Sydney, Australia as of October 2014. We met each other while we were both working in the same hospital in Singapore, fell in love and decided we wanted to travel the world together. We left Singapore in March 2014 and went on our 6 month world (not really, more like Asia) tour. I'm hoping this will be a way for us to write about our journey and travel experiences. We travelled for around 190 days so look forward to the posts!
